Canon Matt Portrait Inkjet Canvas in a medium weight 320gsm is a smooth textured canvas that allows you to create authentic looking canvas portrait and photographic prints. The 1: 1 polyester cotton structure of this canvas allows you to produce inkjet canvas prints with a uniform colour rendering which makes it ideally suited for portrait artwork. The blend of polyester with cotton makes this canvas much easier to stretch over a frame than a heavyweight 100% cotton canvas without cracking.

For longer lasting canvas artwork with reduced fading, we recommend you use a pigment inkjet printer . The beauty of pigment inks is that they are waterproof and more resistant to UV light which causes colour deterioration and fading.

For additional protection of your artwork, this canvas can be laminated using pressure sensitive or warm lamination. A wait time of about 3 hours is recommended before laminating.  To mount onto a board, encapsulating an edge of 5 - 6 mm around the print is recommended to prevent against moisture which can cause paper splitting because of the tension of the laminate.
