Excellent-quality 60gsm sewing pattern paper is available from us in a range of widths!
The end of another year is approaching fast, which means quite a number
of things. Those “things” include an opportunity for many of us to spend
precious time with our loved ones, exchange gifts, and reflect on how the past
12 months went.
These final few weeks of 2024 may also, of course, be a time when you are
looking ahead and considering whether you are using the best possible products
for all manner of applications.
With all that in mind, we felt here at Prizma Graphics that it could be a
good moment to give a shout out to our bestselling CAD and graphics products.
Our 60gsm semi-translucent inkjet sewing pattern paper is an excellent
example of such a product; you can find
it in our store under the code SP60.
But what are the aspects of this paper that make it so relevant and
useful? Furthermore, what dimensions of it can you choose from when you make
Prizma Graphics your favoured wide-format
paper suppliers?
A smooth, white, and semi-translucent paper that can be used with many
different printers
There are a number of strong practical reasons to select this 60gsm paper
over certain alternatives you might have considered.
One of those reasons is the fact of it having been universally tested for
use with any dye or pigment inkjet printer. So, whether you’re on the lookout
for sewing pattern paper that would work well with a HP DesignJet or HP
Pagewide XL printer, or perhaps a Canon IPF, TM, or TX device, or an Epson
machine, you will be well-served by this large-format paper.
It can be purchased in various widths, too, such as A1
24” 610mm x 50m, 33”
841mm x 120m, 36”
914mm x 150m, and 42”
1067mm x 50m, to cite just some of the options now in our stock. As you
browse our online range, you will see that this paper can also be supplied on
both 2” and 3” cores.
There are other aspects of this 60gsm sewing pattern printer paper that
you are likely to appreciate when you come to use it. It is a paper that lends
itself well to monochrome printing, while also holding line colour effectively.
Furthermore, this semi-opaque, smooth paper has a uniform composition,
can be very easily folded, and – as it is white – differs markedly from tracing
paper, which is grey in appearance.
As this paper does allow a certain amount of ‘show-through’, it is an
excellent option for tracing and overlays. Pattern makers frequently use it for
the creation of sewing patterns.
There is at least one more advantage of this 60gsm paper that we simply have
to emphasise: the fact that its relatively light weight helps to reduce postage
costs. This is something you might want to bear in mind if you will be looking
to distribute your drawings by post.
Allow us to point you towards the perfectly suited solution
There is, of course, no “one size fits all” answer to the question,
“which printer paper or other media would best cater to my needs?” Much depends
on whatever specific purposes you are intending to use your chosen paper for.
This is why, as wide-format paper suppliers at Prizma Graphics, we take
pride in making ourselves highly available to provide tailored advice and
guidance.
