One of those reasons is the fact of it having been universally tested for use with any dye or pigment inkjet printer. Furthermore, this semi-opaque, smooth paper has a uniform composition, can be very easily folded, and – as it is white – differs markedly from tracing paper, which is grey in appearance.

As this paper does allow a certain amount of ‘show-through’, it is an excellent option for tracing and overlays. Pattern makers frequently use it for the creation of sewing patterns.
